Kersey Wahlquist, DVM
Principle Manager
Dr. Wahlquist is originally from Las Vegas, NV and graduated from CSU vet school. After graduation, she worked general practice for a couple of years and then emergency the last 3 years back in her hometown, but is happy to be back in Fort Collins! She has strong interest in emergency medicine and nutrition. She has experience working with all types of animals- dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, reptiles, birds, and wildlife. She is also available for a variety of surgeries- splenectomy, C-sections, foreign body removals, GDV, and enucleations to name a few.
Dr. Wahlquist is a crazy cat lady with two unrelated twin cats, Tigger and Lio. She is a former bodybuilder that still does weight lifting and swimming on the side and is an avid fantasy reader.

Michelle Baker, CVT
Practice Manager
Michelle is originally from Tennessee and moved to Fort Collins in 2011. Michelle graduated from Dyersburg State Community College in 2011 with an A.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from Colorado State University Global Campus in 2014 with a B.S. degree in Healthcare Administration and Management. Michelle then graduated from Front Range Community College in 2018 with an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology and is also a Certified Veterinary Technician.
In her free time, Michelle loves spending time with her two children, Atticus and Delilah, and their Flat-Coat Retriever, Cody, and their two cats, Winnie and Tofu. Michelle also likes to fish, paddle board, and watch New Girl.

Mahina
Veterinary Technician
Originally from Hawaii, Mahina recently moved to Fort Collins with her girlfriend who is attending CSU’s veterinary program. Mahina has loved animals since she was a child. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 12 years. She has a background in emergency medicine and surgery, dental and surgical procedures, and radiology. Mahina has a passion for working with native Hawaiian sea birds.
When not at work, Mahina loves riding her street bike, going out to a good restaurant with friends, hiking with her dogs, swimming in the ocean, and free diving.

Madelaine
Veterinary Technician
Madelaine is originally from Round Rock, Texas. She majored in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University and hopes to pursue veterinary school in the future. She has worked in small animal veterinary clinics for about 5 years now and loves working with dogs and cats each day!
Outside of work, Madelaine enjoys playing guitar, singing, playing tennis and trying new coffee shops. She has a golden retriever named Fender and loves taking him to dog parks.

Julia
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Julie
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Julie is originally from Littleton, Colorado. She is currently enrolled at CSU working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and hopes to go to vet school in the future. She has always loved working with animals, especially horses. Julie started her veterinary career as an intern in 2018 and has been working both as a receptionist and assistant at several clinics since then. She is excited to get more experience working in a veterinary clinic!
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her three horses Bentley, Sterling, and Luna. She loves to perform as a member of the CSU Rampage drill team.

Dovvie
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Dovvie is originally from Fowler, Colorado. She grew up on a ranch in the southeastern part of the state where her passion for animal health originated. Dovvie started to volunteer at a veterinary clinic in 2018, since then she has begun working as a veterinary assistant. Dovvie continues to work in the field to strengthen her skill-set and experience. Dovvie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Colorado State University, and she works towards further pursuing her education in veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Dovvie enjoys going out with friends, vacationing with her family, and watching Grey’s Anatomy.
